Carri Angel Photography
Carri Angel is the founder of the renowned alternative clothing label ‘The Dark Angel Design Co’. As well as designing and producing the company’s extensive range of theatrical costuming she also exclusively photographs and markets the brand. The unique design of the clothing is visually rich and lends itself perfectly to her highly creative style of photography.

In 2004 Carri left the UK to promote her work overseas. She has since established offices in Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand and California. She returned to the UK in 2013 and inspired by the spectacular landscape of the South West, settled in Devon.
For the past twenty years photography has been the main aspect of Carri’s creative practice and her lavish, fantasy imagery is regularly featured in publications worldwide.
In 2017 she achieved a Masters Degree in photography. Her visual narrative 'A Stitch in Time', explored the detrimental effects of disposable fashion on manufacturing communities in the North of England. She is a longstanding advocate of ethical fashion and is committed to promoting sustainability and diversity in the industry.   
Alongside her creative practise, Carri is a senior lecturer on the Commercial Photography BA at the Arts University in Bournemouth, where she specialises in fashion & narrative photography. She is also is a doctoral researcher at London College of Communication.
